I don’t disagree with you. It was correct, I still hate to end it like that.

I had to piss at the wrong time. Did the pitch clock run down before the batter was in the box and ready?

How many arms do we have left?

Did these teams just scout us incredibly?

Are we a bit off defense/pitching wise?

We are alive.

Wow, …never seen an NCAA playoff elimination game end like that.

If the umpire had any discretion related to making that call he should have used it, you do not make a call like that in that situation.

We got arms but not throwing the 2nd half of the pen in 2 weeks hurt. Petro has to be on tomorrow. If we win game 1, everyone will need to be ready

“ Batter Requirements: Hitters must be in the box and alert to the pitcher with no fewer than 5 seconds remaining on the clock.”

He clearly was not ready.

If you let him in, you have to let them all in.

People were tired of watching the Nomar GarciaPara routine after every pitch. Adjust both gloves, 4 practice swings, adjust jock, cross self, spit, and on and on.

It is what it is.
We won.

Fralic knew immediately.

I'm sure there will be a video of it. Watched every pitch of the game but that.

That didn't take long:
End of game

No, not really.

There is a huge difference between 1 Strike in the 2nd inning with one out, and…..

2 outs, 2 strikes, bottom of the ninth of an NCAA elimination game….

If someone reviewed the whole game and said that every batter was back in the box by 4.9 seconds, maybe , but I do not believe that happened.

I agree it was an odd ending to the game.

There has been a clock rule in college baseball for a few years, and they played all season with it.

Fralic did not hesitate. He absolutely knew it was strike 3.

Knowing the rules in crucial situations is good coaching.

We were fortunate to win, but if we lost that way- it would be a loss- a tragic loss, but a loss nonetheless.

Moving on to the next game, is it better to play UCF or Milwaukee next?

I hope they play a 27 inning game.

Without knowing anything about either team, I think we’d rather have to beat Milwaukee twice than UCF. Can’t imagine they have much pitching depth.

Yup, although they way they're hitting and we're pitching and fielding it might take 25 runs to beat them
