My expectations are 5-0 but would not be surprised at 4-1. 3-2 would not be a good start to conference play.
We have tough road games down the road. Plus we need to play well on the road against average teams to stay in the race for the conference

quote:They also just got guard Keyon Menifield in the rotation a couple of games ago (he was granted waiver recently), he was named player of the week. And yes they have athletes. They have a deep roster and some bigs that could give Broome problems. I too am also glad Auburn gets them early but I think it will be a really tough game.
Their roster is filled with long, rangy athletes.. the type that has given Pearl teams issues in the past. Their lead guard is also Tramon Mark who effectively ended our season last year when he was at Houston. We could not stop him.

Penn’s leading scorer, pg Slajchert (17 ppg) is out for the game. Was shooting over 43% from 3 and played about 34 min per game.

Jaylin is breathing deeply in the zone (to quote some ESPN dude.)

Man the thought of what this year could be if Jaylin finally becomes the guy we need at the 3 spot.

Just dropping in to again comment on Chris Moore’s ineptitude. I understand you need a glue you and a hustler, but do we not have someone that offers more?

He’s still good for one or two of those “how the hell did he pull that off?” stretches of play per game.

Yeah Moore’s shot is off - he bangs inside and can hustle but it seems like his body is too big for his brain, if that makes sense.

He’s our best wing defender, doesn’t ever force anything, overall productive player.
Least aesthetically pleasing player for sure but we need him
