Barrett has certainly made his position on Harsin clear this past week.

That’s a quote from the movie cool hand Luke or for rock fans from the beginning of the song Civil War by Gun N Roses which was just a sampling from the movie

As far as the AD I’m sure he was so happy with that 7-5 (5-2) record and a tie for the conf title after winning outright the 3 years prior

Well you don’t have to wonder, because he just told everyone that Harsin (despite being the third coach in three years) won a conference championship in his first year at Arkansas State (they’ve declined ever since Harsin left). Actually a pretty remarkable job Harsin did when you consider that Gus left as soon as Freeze’s players all graduated.

2011 10-3 Freeze
2012 10-3 Malzahn
2013 7-5 Harsin

One of these is not like the other

True, Malzahn did inherit a great team from Freeze before he bolted to Auburn to build a JUCO transfer team and left Harsin with no one. Despite that, Harsin won a conference championship, just like he did at Boise.

That wasn’t Salle’s article I thought?

Its not, he just shared it on Twitter and made a comment about how “wild” it was
It was written by an ASU beatwriter.

But it sounds so much more salacious to say it was written by an national reporter who also happens to be an AU alum, right?

Not true. He insinuated that Harsin was almost fired from ASU in his retweet, which the former ASU AD went out of his way to dispute. It’s clear where Sallee stands, even if he’s misguided.

You ever thought that being a failure as a human being Might make you a failure as a coach?

Guess that recruiting pitch of don’t take the elevator take the stairs approach didn’t reach the younger generation. When his lazy arse wouldn’t even do the minimum to get the job done on the trail and see exactly why we didn’t get one damn signee on NSD. Had 2 months to recruit your arse off for any player unsigned. Couldn’t get 1.

A failure as a human being? Based on what? What carpetbagger fair weather players say? What social media says? Let me know when the facts come in.

I guess the social media post by players weren’t enough for you? They just butt hurt in your opinion, that it?

Even the starters?

So this reporter tweets a story that he read but has no idea if it’s true, but wants his readers to read it. Isn’t that spreading rumors? Is that the new journalism? That dude is a hack. He’s not a journalist.

Then, the AD comes out and says total BS. Your comment is- ‘well he didn’t say he didn’t miss that radio show’

Post less, a lot less

I didn’t say anything about a radio show. Reading comprehension must not be your thing.

I posted the records at Arky state for Freeze, Malzahn and Harsin.

You came in hot didn’t fit your narrative

Twitter is weird because you have journalists tweeting about all kinds of shite as well as actual work/reporting. And it’s difficult at times to separate the two.

JFerg’s last tweet is about Red Lobster. But I don’t think that counts as journalism.

Anyway, I’m done knighting for this guy. I can barely spell his name. I do think some folks need to take Twitter less seriously for their own mental well-being
