We struggle underneath with rotations on defense especially when guys are going for blocked shots. I've seen multiple times this season 3 guys trying to block the shot instead of letting one guy contest and the other 2 box out and/or pick off of the dump passes on drives.
Bruce is a man to man guy but right now our players are much more comfortable in zone. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't play more zone that's up to Coach. And yes I know this year is basically just practice but you want you kids to keep that drive to win, to have that winning culture.

Agreed on both fronts. I like guys wanting to make a play, but someone has to be there to get the rebound even if it’s blocked. Also zone seems to be a better fit since they aren’t the quickest but have good length.

Anybody know where are game is televised? Says SECN but I only see the USCe game.

We are playing like an inexperienced team so far this game. Powell giving players good looks but shots aren’t falling or our bigs greased up their hands before the game.

Three shot clock violation, 14 turnovers, passing up good shots just to drive into traffic, shooting 26.9% from the field and 7.7% from 3. Looks like UCF all over again.

A&M was a slight favorite going into this game but it was still a game I think we should win. They have a legit defense but their offense is awful.

Not a good half of basketball. Playing a tiny bit better on defense. The book is out on AU, defend the 3, pressure the ball handlers, make the offense run clock. Gotta get some finishes at the basket. We miss way to many lay ups by being soft. Take the contact and finish.
