This season has taken more time off my life than any season under Barbee

Is it just me or does Doughty seem to ignore Purifoy when he is on the court. This is the 3rd straight game I've seen him force some bs when Purifoy was wide open in his line of sight. He doesn't seem to miss others when they are open so it concerns me that there may be something there.

Has to be the first time in a while we’ve swept UGA in back to back years

I think they said since 79-80 was the last time we beat them 4 straight.

I think they were talking about Chuma normally being the inbounder but Bruce said he wanted size on the catch since there wasn't enough time to do much other than catch and shoot. Chuma's size allowed him to shoot over the defense where Harper or Brown have to have more space.

It was a great play and I see the reasoning, but don’t think Okeke is actually the least likely player to shoot in that situation. In my mind he shouldn’t be anyway. He’s our 3rd best shooter and one of the top two was ice cold again.
I’m glad for our guys though. We have a few players from UGA on our roster that didn’t get recruited by Georgia.

It’s a good season.

I think I underestimated the loss of Heron and the power forward plus Wiley has been injured so much.

We could win any game or lose any game depending on shooting.

I hope everyone comes back and the addition of some length will help us. Also I would like to see Wiley play a full season.

I'm happy with the season if (when) we make the tourney. I think we all should be. Do we have memory loss of basketball from the early 2000s to Pearl?

I also underestimated Herons loss. Glad we won last night. Definitely a must win.

We should be in the NCAA tournament and that by definition is a good season at Auburn. Saturday is a huge game.

Also beating UGA 4 straight has not happened since 1980. What else happened in 1980?

Any win is a good win.

It was sloppy at times. There are stretches during a game, when we have a good lead, where we just seem to not give a damn. You can do that against a UGA but it will bite you in the fanny against a good team.

I love Pearl. I hope he stays at Auburn until he retires. The one bitch I have about him is.........use a freakin' TO every now and then.

South Carolina.

Note to Pearl: We haven't beaten a GOOD team since early December either.

I told someone back in January this Auburn team would be one of 5 or 10 best Auburn teams in school history but our fans would all be disappointed in the season. I made that comment when I first realized we didn't have the toughness of last seasons team. I am thankful this team keeps fighting...I hope we make the tourney and have a good shooting weekend.

Either way my biggest hope is Bruce can parlay the energy and success into some big guards and a few inside guys who are athletic and strong. I'd like to rely less on the 3 in the future.

Well I woke up happy that we won. I’m awfully harsh on this team at times and it’s just because I believe they’re really talented, but don’t play to their potential at times.

Good win on the road. UGA has given people a tough time in Athens this year. Gotta keep that momentum against State this weekend

As bad as this team has been lately and as many games as we have dropped, that should not even be a consideration. If you are winning, they should give a damn

What did they say, uga set a school record for attendance and lost their last 4 to projected tournament teams by a combined 7 points. Dangerous game. Despite their record.

You have to think that is more about the new coach than the team.

Oh please

I just traveled 800 miles last weekend to watch us get beat by 27. You can say whatever you want but I’ve physically supported this team more than the average fan
