If I remember correctly, he got a good opportunity elsewhere

Wiley made it through a full contact practice yesterday and so far no word of any setbacks. If nothing comes up look for him to get 8-10 minutes tomorrow night vs UDub.

Desean Murray got suspended by Stansbury at WKU, assumed marijuana. Hooks suggests that this 'issue' was a major factor in why he transferred from AU
Hooks also said Purifoys natural state is lazy and he can't stay focus work ethic wise. During his suspended year, he basically gave up and made no progress on/off court

Purifoy is still our most talented player. He has bulked up a little from inactivity and some from lifting but he'll be good to go by the time the conference season opens up.

That's contrary to what we were hearing all last year. I remember reading how much he had been working on and improving his shot.

Based on my interpretation I'd say this
- Purifoy initially struggled with the scandal and took it hard (understandably give this was second lost season)
- Once Purifoy came to terms, I believe he did work in practice to get better
- PUrifoy did not show the drive/dedication to maximize S&C + extra work
