Picture of Bruce and Tyrell Jones:

Thanks to Head Coach Bruce Pearl
@AuburnMBB
for stopping by this morning to see Showtime Ballers
@TurboRell

@WestOaksAcad
#flamenation #showtimeornotime #studentfirst

He is on an official visit to Ole Miss this week... Interestingly, he posts “not committed” to all school graphics whether it be Auburn, Ole Miss, etc. He is probably just playing the recruiting game right now.

Bruce Pearl tells me that this year's Auburn team is better offensively than last season's group that won the SEC regular season title. Tigers averaged 82 PPG in 17-18.

Bruce has his ESPN time that he wanted.

Bruce in the one Auburn coach I trust most when he talks about his team. If he says the offense will be better, I know he's an intelligent enough coach to expect better numbers this season.

The hype surrounding this season is carrying me through football. Bruce is by far one of my favorite Auburn coaches of all time regardless of sport.

So what do y'all think our starting lineup should be?

Harper
Brown
Okeke
McLemore
Wiley
Doughty
Purifoy
Spencer

I think we'll see a big decrease in Dunbar's minutes with the emergence of Okeke, especially after Purifoy comes back.

I think it'll be

Harper
Brown
Purifoy
Okeke
Wiley

after Purifoy is eligible. Not really sure before. Maybe throw in McLemore and move Okeke to the 3.

Does Doughty play 2?

He can play the 1,2 or 3. I think he gets the majority of his minutes at the 2 and 3 spot.

Starting lineup after Purifoy serves his suspension

Harper, Brown, Purifoy, Okeke, Wiley

Yeah, I believe so. I think he may run backup at point too.

Dan McDonald
@DMcDonaldRivals
4-star 2019 PG Isaac McBride will be taking an official visit to #Kansas this weekend. He's focused on a top three of #Auburn, Kansas and #Virginia.

Aren't we still heavy favorites for Sharife Cooper in 2020? Harper should still be here until then

We still hold 80% of the CBs that were put in around June. He played with Okoro and Bab. We should be good.

Bruce and several other teams visited Sacred Heart Catholic of Anniston to see 4* Jayden Stone.

Any kid from Anniston/Oxford area is always a tough pull for us. I guess with him being from Australia though, the bammer can’t run very deep in him. I like Bruce’s chances with any kid he sets his mind to get. Guy is a dynamic recruiter.

You’d think the one hour and some change drive to Auburn would make it easier. Not really sure why we don’t do well there. I know for a fact the head principal tbere is an LSU fan, so I guess we won’t have to worry about him recruiting for Bama.
