Looks like we hired Wes Flannigan

Also looks like Kansas has a huge FBI issue of their own

Good hire. Would love to pick up Harrington down the road.

So we win the SEC then everyone leaves. Doesn’t seem good.

Heron: was expected
Mitchell: unexpected, but very understandable
Murray: unexpected and I don't really get it but whatever. he probably wants a bigger role somewhere.
This is just what college basketball is these days. Don't be so naive as to think this only happens here.
The best program in our conference has has two (and counting) declare for the draft and one transfer at this point.

Haha I get your point. It does say a lot that KD was paying Harrington to be his personal coach though. Supposedly, he was close with Dirk too. I'd love to get a guy like that involved with the team one way or another.

Auburn is on track to be in the top 100-150 in minutes continuity next season even with "everyone leaves"
That is really good considering we then add to that Purifoy/Doughty and potential Wiley

I get it. Just didn't see the Murray exit when I made that post. It makes more sense now, especially if Wiley comes back.

Marquis Daniels is coming on board in an off the court support role as well.

If only we had a rap collab between the football and basketball programs in 2015 then Duke Williams wouldn't have tried to fight the basketball players and there would have been harmony.

Jacquil Taylor from Purdue would be great as a transfer. 6'10 Forward who can shoot the 3 and averaged 14 PPG 12 RPG when healthy. Only problem is keeping him healthy.

Some people have been hearing Trey Porter from OldDominion 6'10 F
This would be about as good a pickup as we could hope. He was the best player on a very good Old Dominon team

Ya, he isn't a stretch 5, but he'd be About as close to a home run grad transfer in the post that we can realistically get. While we wouldn't need to, we could realistically promise ~20+ minutes to him if he can play both PF/C effectively
So if Purifoy was eligible the first 9 games, I'd say that grad transfer post is a luxury not a need assuming McLemore/Akingbola were available. We'd have 5 available post options (Purifoy backup PF minutes) + emergency 6th

I would say that the guard situation and grad/JUCO transfer recruiting is EXTREMELY concerning
Our real concern is an injury to Jared Harper (Doughty to a lesser extent). While Bruce's system can make do without a playmaking PG, we still need 40 competent PG minutes without Harper
The best case outcome is that in the "Harper is out" scenario that Doughty can be relied on for 25-30+mpg at PG, while Bryce Brown can reliably provide 10+mpg
That would allow us to target someone like 6'6 JUCO SG Brandon Mahan who has a RS + 3 yrs eligibility. Mahan would provide immediate depth at both SG/SF + long term guard depth solution given Brown/Dunbar leave after this season

A good option would be Justin Coleman from Samford. I don't think he would transfer in looking for tons of minutes.
