Nice to see Bryce doing well, people hated on him all last year
He still has a ton of improvement left, which is a good thing considering how well he has played for us thus far

It has been good watching him drive a little more this year. Guys are coming way out to guard him, and he is finally giving them a pump fake and driving in, not just settling for a contested 3.

He also is going more to the rim and not doing that pull up 10ft shot as much

Yep. If we could only get Heron to start running his little shot fake play behind the 3pt line instead of just beyond the freethrow line. He doesn't make it enough to justify not just trying it from 3.

Looks like Real Time aggregates individual game predictions, because it doesn't make sense based on their projected results

It's because the ridiculous home team edge RPI Wizard gives. Arkansas/UF are the only two games we aren't favored in though

Cooper is likely going to be a 5* / top 50 player if I had to guess. At only 5'10, he has to be a heck of a player to be rated that high as a SO

We didn't have any prior commits from McEachern or Kennesaw
Guys we recruited ** Bold = Commit/former commit
McEachern
PG- Shariffe Cooper SO. '20 (247 5*)
SF- Isaac Okoro JR. '19 (ESPN #40)
PF/C - Babatunde Akingbola Jr. '19* (247 #144)

He is talking about Jared Jones, who transferred from Pebblebrook.

Cooper isn't super athletic but he is very highly skilled, especially for a Sophomore. There is no doubt, he'll be a top 50 player. We've been recruiting him for over a year already.

Yep! Thats his name. He looked real good. Played with attitude. I will definitely have to get back to a game vs a team with a pulse to see the true Mceachern.

Exactly.
I think the past 2 years, he simply wanted to shoot his most comfortable shot which was behind the arc. And in the past, he never seemed comfortable or consistent when he did try to dribble drive and shoot.
He simply has worked on his game...and expanded it. We can see now he is MUCH more confident going to the rim..and actually making those shots. His mid range shot is still spotty...but better...

dude is jacked already. for a junior in hs, i couldnt believe how built he was. I graduated 10 years ago from hs and it is incredible the difference in the build of kids from then to now. i think all but one kid on mceachern was dunking pre game and 4-5 from kennesaw. we had 1 kid and he was 6'5 who could dunk when i was in school....and we were good.
