You're talking just the LSU game, right?

Cause he started Bo in the Penn St game and lost.
And he started Bo in the GA St game, and was losing 3/4 thru the 3rd qtr before he was pulled. We would have lost, cause Bo had zero confidence up to that point.

Bo was the best foot forward in the Penn State game.

Don’t tell me TJ ain’t ever had a bad day.

I agree, Bo WAS the best foot forward against PSU. He had not done anything to not be the guy. Ofc we had played 2 of the weakest OOC teams we could play.

And I agree too on TJ has had bad days...but he was having them as a true freshman, on the road.

Bo, has had 2+ years to develop consistency as a QB. He had no business being inconsistent against GA ST, at home.

so I have agreed with you twice..(kinda)

I don't have a problem starting Bo against LSU. But, i he continues to play poorly on his execution in the passing game, I also have no problem for Finley to see what he can do again..(ofc the most pressure is going to be on him too, bc of his LSU ties, and being from LA).

I just don't see how Harsin starts Nix on Saturday, unless he's really sucking in practice. If they look pretty equal in practice, and Harsin starts Nix, you are almost guaranteeing a locker room issue.

Good. I expected this and hope it goes all week.

I still believe Nix starts with a short leash UNLESS he has an attitude problem and/or Finley just has a better week

I was at this game in 1994 and the change by Harsin reminded me of the old ball coach and sent a message to the entire team. quote: As a senior in 1994, Spurrier was quick to pull Dean and replace him with Wuerffel after mistakes,

And the Head Ball Coach was known for pulling QBs when they didn't perform as they should. Is anyone here going to question Steve Spurrier when it comes to offense, personnel changes, QB performance, etc? Still Torn. Give Bo a half and our team needs a "come to Jesus" moment this week. Good luck CBH.

PS - CSSpurrier is one coach who made a two QB system work. Well.

It's easy to argue Spurrier wasted a few teams that should have won more because of his offensive philosophies, including creating the QB controversies.

Yeah he was but he got ridiculous with it at USCe. Pretty sure he benched the starter four or five times. None of it helped and apparently the backup wasn’t any better.

Exactly.

I think I remember 1 game where Spurrier changed out 2-3 QBs in ONE series.
If Spurrier wasn't happy with how his QB executed 1 play, he sent in the next one, and then another.

He did that multiple times I think at USC, or maybe it was FL, not sure.

Guessing he= Finley here?

There’s an assumption here that Nix doesn’t look better than Finley at practice and that just might not be true. Kid was a camp warrior and he has something extra when the reps aren’t live.

But that’s just my guess. And whether that’s true or not, I think Harsin can toe this line for a while. I think, as fans, we jump the gun on the whole locker room issue stuff. We’re in trouble regardless if they’re that fragile over 2 players competing for snaps

Whoever starts, if we throw it in the flat on the first series it will be a pick 6 for LSU. Even I know its coming and I live 1000 miles away.
i can see this happening on a curl routes where our QB stares down the WR

I would like to agree with your statement, but we all saw how the team responded when the change was made on Saturday.

The last part really doesn't make sense to me. I'm not saying your wrong on who looks better in practice but looking good in practice does account for something but if you don't look the same when the lights come on then that's a big problem. I will never forget Jimbo Fisher doing a interview right after Jameis Winston first or second game and Jimbo saying he was surprised he played that well because his didn't look as good in practice. Sometimes things change when the lights come on.

Jeremy Johnson was a practice all star.

I don’t know that he does. Just responding to an assumption (that we don’t know) made by another poster

Don’t forget Neil Caudle was neck and neck with Cam in practice. Things look a lot different when that no contact jersey comes off.

Maybe. Maybe not. Gus does not coach at Auburn anymore.
