This season is a throw-a-way year. 6-6, 7-5 is my expectation.

Gus went to a Natty in his first season, that had a lot to do with Chiz winning a Natty a few years previous. The cupboard wasn't bare when Gus took over.

I distinctly remember sitting at the beach with my two bro in laws (big Uga fans) two months before 2013 season, and them laughing there arse off when I said AU would probably go 7-5. I remember it vividly bc they kept bringing it up all trip and laughing at me like I was crazy. 6 months later I was laughing my arse off at them.

To the issue at hand, I think we are more talented roster now, but the talent holes in the trenches is going to kill us this year. Still think 7-5 is our floor though

Gus could not get top shelf offensive linemen to sign year after year.

We have tons of guards, but really don’t have a next level tackle.

I understand it’s hard to out-recruit Alabama and Georgia, but there are linemen in the NFL from much less prestigious programs than Auburn.

Maybe Coach Harsin will be able to sign better players, and/or develop players to a higher ceiling than Gus did.

We heard it over and over that our linemen were not prepared for NFL complex style offenses.

It was easy to recruit against us. It was obvious word was out among OL prospects stay away from Auburn if you want a better chance at going next level.
