So Franklin is "up to 180-185 pounds." If he can get to 195, I'll be good with that.

LMAO. This board is going to flip shite once he moves WR. All I hear about from the spring practices is how JF3 is showing leadership and how he has been impressing the coaches at running the read option. Meanwhile, barely a peep on the other quarterbacks. I cannot tell if it's because the reporters are just asking more questions about JF3 than the others or if JF3 is already stealing the show on the field and the praise is genuinely initiated by the players. Regardless, I can imagine a loud collective groan by many people once SW or JJ is named the starter.

You can buy me a tequila beer with a skull on it when he is starter motherfricker

I can't get myself to buy it myself but I've wanted to try it

This boards flips it's shite when it gets out of bed in the morning. I've never seen such an emotionally unstable bunch of people.

Agreed. Allowing Rhett Lashlee input over Dameyune Craig is hilariously stupid.

Is Dameyune Craig the guy who put the great Myron Burton either 6th or 7th on the WR depth chart?

The world needs answers to these important questions.

All you have to do is tell them something that is very obvious but not what they want and they will flip the frick out.

I'll be getting one for the girlfriend, but the one you get me will be something a little darker.

With that said Craig is gone and Gus has in place who he wants. We have talent and possibilities. Let's see what happens, but I will not be full posi this season.

I am hopeful, but by no means convinced.

This is the time for Gus to show us he can coach this team. He knows it. I think we will see his best effort and we will know if he is up for the task after this year.

I long for a defense that scares someone.

I really want to see a dominant running game again.

I hope that Gus is the man for this. But I am with you, while I am hopeful, I am not really sure he can pull it off.

I also go back and forth about the qb being live. We have little room for error this year, so we need to know how someone will handle real pressure. On the other hand, I fear several of our prospects are imminently breakable.

Yeah. Let's let 3 different people have a role in play calling. Sounds like a fricking nightmare

They made it sound like DC didn't have much involvement in game prep or play design either.

I can believe that. Would DCs input be valuable for Gus' system? Who the frick knows.

I haven't been keeping up with spring practice this year and I'm not about to read this whole thread to find out but I was wondering if Jeremy Johnson had been named the starter yet and if not when do we expect him to be. TIA

No need to ask

You'll know when JJ is the starter. There's a poster on this board that will make damn certain you know and that he knew before everyone else.

Practice notes are identical to last year. Things like

-Great energy
-Very motivated
-New players progressing well
-Competition bringing out the best
-Special packages for some players

Absolutely nothing of value is to be learned until we start losing
