Yes, I said I want a DB to get burnt all the time on double moves....
That's pretty much what you're asking for when you're wanting your last line of defense to NOT play that way. He's not a corner. He's not Troy Polamalu. He plays damn great assignment football and is as good as any safety in the country (except for the Soph guy at LSU) with regards to closing speed and making sure the man goes down when he gets there.

Ford played safety very well in run support other than Fournette or the Ole Miss RB that made him look silly. But I'd take a Jalen Ramsey or the Mills guy at LSU first at deep FS for their pass coverage skills. If you disagree, that is on you. I'm bored with the conversation though so let's wind this convo up.

You sound so annoying, so yes please, wrap it up

Pathetic response, 251. Please bring something constructive to the particular conversation, until then, frick off.

They've been off since the 10th for Spring Break. Start back to practice tomorrow. Schedule's in the OP.
I hope every qb has spent the week doing nothing but practicing throwing the ball.
And hopefully JF ate a lot.
A whole lot.

He hit the nail on the head. Solid post, IMHO.

trying to help you out before you make a fool of yourself, but alas, I'm too late.
Practice notes in yet?

No practice notes here, just stopping in to ask what people think about our DBs next year. Anybody think Ford is gonna be good?
Posted on 3/21/16 at 4:49 pm to rbWarEagle
We'll see. It will all depend if he'll be able to come up and break up some curl routes, but make sure he still doesn't get beat deep. As long as he can give good effort, he should be a pretty high draftable prospect.

Really? I have nothing to add to your analysis, but I'd like to spend the next few pages getting other posters' input on Ford's ability/potential draft prospects. Preferably with bickering throughout.

Ford will easily be drafted but he won't be the best safety the past decade. He wasn't even the best DB last year. Countess was the best and he won best defensive player of the year because of it.

Carlton Davis was 10 times the player Countess was.
Posted on 3/21/16 at 5:10 pm to Rig
Carlton has ten times the potential but Countess was the most consistent and he played the hardest. It's hard to argue against that. I mean come on.

Regardless of who was best, Auburn fans have a ridiculously inflated opinion of our own players.
That doesn't mean we've had bad players just that we are absurdly biased

A lot of times it seems Auburn fans are absurdly biased against our own players.
