Yep. Watched some of Clemson's earlier. Same with theirs. Defense had some big plays, but mainly because offense looked putrid.

Good drive from Geriner here with a lot of passing.
Edit-- then took a sack with 15 seconds left before half lol.
2 drives stopped inside the 10. Towns with another FG though.

Yea great 2-minute drill situation and good playing by this squad.

I kind of like this format though. Defense is basically back against the wall every series as they don't punt anyone deep into their territory.
Defense has looked good. To be expected in most spring games. Running game on offense has been disappointing.

Yeah can't have that. Surprised we didn't use a TO and run another play or two though.

Our starting qb still doesn't pass the eye test either. :(

Had a pretty good drive on his second drive.

Loving the stemming by the DL. UGA does a ton of it so getting used to it is a good thing. I like the Durkin hire

Agreed. So far, just base scheme i've liked what i've seen. DB's are varying up press and off coverage, playing physical. DL looks to attack, but not trying to just shoot upfield. Been setting the attack point well it seems.

YESSSS. I never played OL or QB but I’m sure it’s an absolutely pain to deal with.

Great catch there by Lewis.
OL a little disappointing. Some of them are getting blown up.

Did I hear Freeze just say he's not calling plays. Here we go. Lol

Clip it and send it to Kiffin

My guess is that is intentional since Nix apparently had language in his contract at OM saying his buyout would be more if he left for a non-playcalling job.

Heck of a tackle by Woodyard in open space

They are going to give the D the sack, but I think Throne would have got that off and Lewis scored on it. I'm counting it

Redzone disappointing. Kicking seems to be set for the next long time when McPherson leaves.
I think Lewis technically scored but Thorne didn't get the ball out quick enough.

Yea, hard to tell. Thorne stepped up but the D also isn't trying to hit him.
Posted on 4/6/24 at 2:45 pm to jt33
Thorne has actually looked pretty solid.

Seems much calmer overall. Seen multiple good reads and progressing through coverage.
