If I understand correctly our offense scored 28 on 7 FGs and 1 TD.
And we are happy.
If it was a lot of situational things that were not optional for changing plays/sets etc... then that may not be so bad.
Without knowing what the coaching staff was trying to accomplish it's hard to say if that is good or bad.
If nothing else, it shows we have a good FG unit.

How's Perry Thompson doing? Did he get in the game at all?
EDIT: Nevermind, answered in the thread already. Still, even if he wasn't an early enrollee, he is talented enough to see the field I think.

Apparently Thompson was tweeting during the game, something to the effect of "we coming".
Perry will be behind when he arrives but he will play early and often. He is the same height as Coleman and nearly 20lbs heavier. I remember that photo at the pool party with he and Demarcus and you would be hard pressed to pick who was the wide receiver and who was the LB.
And he is fast, sub 11 second 100 meters.
Will be an awesome combo with Coleman when he arrives and really should help the running game given the days of 9 men in the box are gone, well that is until they get scorched for a couple of TDs

Haven’t seen anything about Perry Thompson. He do anything?
Yes. He continued to go to high school. Probably killed it at his senior prom.

He definitely could not handle Walker’s fastball. Bounced off his chest multiple times.

My take
Throne is still our QB. We will not prosper

Portal season is upon us soon. Salter should be graduating next month.

Don’t be surprised if we lose our top WR’s to the portal before fall.

Top WR would mean Fair. I don't think so but I could see it. Our 3 best WR for A day was Coleman , Brown and Lewis. We still have Perry coming in. Plus the other 2 freshman that has high ceilings. Jackson also looked good. So, I could see that happening.

It was strange that they kept lining him up at outside WR when he is a slot.

Could be due to Burton being injured.

Your melts on every Auburn podcast about Thorne is glorious. I usually never read comments but I know JVille is gonna be on there telling everyone how bad Thorne is and you are getting bashed and thrashed in most.
You get some support on the War Rapport comments but they thought Robby was a QB and played a year with a hurt shoulder blah blah blah and think Jay Fair is a good WR.

Totally agree. Will also add that Coleman, Cain, Brown all showed a ton of effort blocking. Wasn’t always successful but the effort was there which wasn’t at all last year. I’ll have to check what Lewis did when blocking

Another take. The running backs played really really bad. Lots of missed holes. To much bouncing outside. To much outside zone plays. Big Percy didn’t look good run blocking.
Good the OL did very well on blitz pickup. Thorne missed an unblocked defender on the edge on play. Probably should have been communicated through the headset but Freeze may have been communicating that information to Nix and he was doing the TV interview on that play

I see you still love to lie. Nobody is bashing anything I say. Most people agree except idiots that are cool with mediocre QB play.
