This old baw set up this morning at a major intersection. SR 41 and SR 70. His girl sleeping leaning against the pole. LOL.

He must have set up last night because I didn’t see him there yesterday in the way he from work. This was 7:00 am this morning.

Was just fishing in the back yard and this little bastard snuck up on me. I am super attentive back there because I know they get in our pond sometimes.

He snuck up the bank under the grass and was 3 feet from me before I ever saw him.

I quit fishing for the day.

We just got back from a few days at St. George Island - no gator sightings but we did see a turtle and a couple of snakes and a bunch of chickens and roosters roaming around some beach bum's yard. It hits different in Florida (in a good way.)

Isn't Port Charlotte kind of close by?

Hope you enjoyed it. SGI and Cape San Blas are two of the only remaining beaches not overrun with development...but they're getting there. The state parks at both places are really great visits to see natural wildlife.

Cape San Blas

Only wen there once and the water was total shite. It was like chocolate milk. Have no idea what was going on. Had a horrible week as the ocean sucks.

Nothing beats. Holmes beach in the state of Florida.

You must have been on the port saint joe/mex beach side…can get murky. The cape at San Blas is more like Destin. Agree on Holmes!

Man, "run me off" is really not accurate.

I just elected not to mess with him.

You baws alive tonight? Steaks, salad, music and booze going on here in Bradenton. Heading out fishing early then heading over to beer can island for some partying after.

Pool time Sunday and Monday as the gulf will be stupid with people...

Whitewater Center in Montgomery having a soft opening. Not the grand, more like a stress test, so go Sunday for day two. Last weekend for local water so wind it down Saturday. And then work on years first watermelon. Not local, not Summer, and probably not too sweet but the first of many.

Today was supposed to be an easy ride with the wife...well it turned into a s**t show that lead to an all day errand run...started out to ride down to Long Boat Key for brunch but got a flat (lot of trash on the road) lots of traffic that people were bumper to bumper beeping and yelling at each other and didn't even make it to the causeway...flat tire that wouldn't seal...went home and started errands that ended up lasting all day...Today much better day...

Headed over to Cortez beach this morning for a little stroll down the beach before work. Wish I did that everyday. Better than a shrink...

The traffic has been dying off on Cortez road this week. I may go over tomorrow as well. Planning on taking the boat over Sunday to Jewfish Key probably. Maybe to Passage Key. Have not decided. Depends on the wind,

Riding the bike over there is probably awesome and frustrating at the same time. We have rode cruisers but that is not what you are doing. LOL

You out there participating in the nudist colony? j/k place is gorgeous and relaxing

We’ll be down there week after next staying at Flamingo Cay on the causeway to Anna Maria. Will be bringing the boat wide and hoping for good weather. Planning to run offshore a few days and try to put a few worth eating in the boat. Seems the Goliath grouper have taken over down there past few trips we’ve made. We’ll have a blast regardless.

ETA: send me address to your business. I want to come by and pick up some baits to bring back home while I’m down there. Need some good sh!t for West Point/Martin/Lanier/Hartwell.
