It's true. That's why in past years 2-3 times a game he runs a max protect play that he literally thinks is going to be a TD and it ends in a sack or a throw away. I like Gus but it's hilarious to watch.
Hopefully Chad Morris is like bro, that's not going to work like you think it is just because you ran a setup play in the first qtr. This isn't checkers.

The speed sweep works best when you have a Nick Marshall/Cam type threat at QB since he can keep it as an option and the D has to stay put to make sure the QB doesn't keep it for a big gain.
Not saying Bo isn't a legit threat to run, but if we can run it off the option, that's where it's going to eat up the defense.
Running the sweep by itself can work, but our blocking has to be perfect.
