I think it has more to do with Dean...He has never hired a real solid hitting coach since he has been at Auburn....Not sure he knows how.

Very few players under him have gotten better or taken leaps forward from year to year.

We signed 2 players today both catch and play corner infield
Both are power hitters
Anna Wohlers - The Davenport, Iowa, native spent the last two seasons at DePaul and started 104 consecutive games for the Blue Demons. In her two seasons, Wohlers held a .341 batting average behind 103 hits and scored 64 runs. Wohlers added 27 doubles, five triples and 20 home runs for 75 career RBI and a .662 slugging percentage. She coupled her slugging numbers with a .427 on-base percentage during her time in Chicago.

Amelia Lech - Posting a .285 batting average, Lech led Maryland in home runs (16), RBI (47), total bases (100), walks (32) and slugging percentage (.694). Lech finished third on the team with 28 runs scored. Adding 11 doubles, over 60 percent of Lech's 41 hits went for extra bases. Her efforts were honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association with All-Midwest Region Third Team honors.
