Those are good comments, but players always tend to rally around the coach.

At this point, it is a clusterfrick. I don't know how Harsin survives another week let alone several years.

Smoke was always a basket case in the head. Just because a coach doesn’t approve of you running the streets doesn’t mean he doesn’t get it. Smoke always seemed like he had an attitude problem, and this speaks to that.

Why was he a basket case? I'd never heard that.

He plays a little "loose" and gets a lot of targeting calls but I never heard he's out getting in trouble or something.

Maybe it’s time these kids realize the world doesn’t revolve around them and that everyone has to cater to their personal wants and desires.

It's an impossible task. Harsin's approach is the better one. You come to work and you do it without complaining and you're not the boss and you don't question the boss. And in return, you get an education and good coaching and brotherhood and a chance at the league.

Now, Harsin probably doesn't have the credibility yet for that pitch, but that's the idea. As opposed to "you're amazing we need you we've been waiting on a talent like you you're such a baller" etc.

But until/unless Harsin can get to the point where he can give these 17 year old wannabe ballers a cold stare and say "come to AU and get to work" and they're all "uh, right away sir" - he's got to play the game somehow

It’s going to be easier for Harsin to adjust than to expect the world will adjust for Harsin.
