Why we need to screen new peopl. Hell with Luke,jang,and grey goose. Can this board really get much worse. I mean they make Randy look like a model poster.

I say anyone who proposes that other fanbases should be let in gets an automatic permaban, starting with the OP.

If we really want to improve the site, we need to allow trolling on the recruiting site.

Randy is a good poster. So are the others you mentioned. They serve a role here
My stance on this isn’t really about whether or not posters from other fan bases will be a quality addition. I think most would be. I don’t think they’d post that often, even. I rarely post on other team boards that I have access to.
My stance is more based on this board being the best place for Auburn fans to talk about Auburn football. Half of this board would be banned on other auburn boards and a large portion of us actually are or have been
I don’t want to change that.
I made one of the first threads on this board when we got it during the middle of the 2012 season. It was a place for us to finally talk about the program, team, success, failures, etc., without unrelenting trolling and hijacking. There was a fricking conspiracy investigation thread into Auburn University pinned to the rant forever

Well then... due to overwhelming support of all non Auburn posters being banned there is no longer reason to hold this open... good move by the voters IMO... anchor this turkey and let us focus on trolling UAT, UGA and bashing our lackluster HC

It is a fact that Auburn has fewer fans than our three largest rivals.
I bet 75% of people living in Alabama are Bama fans, and Georgia and LSU have huge fan bases.
If we opened this board to rival fans then Auburn fans would quickly get outnumbered.
Like the comments on a Auburn story on Al.com.
This board has a great mix of only allowing Auburn fans, but allowing those fans to criticize things.

It got old and ridiculous.
