Only person left off the roster is TJ Finley who is expected to not participate in the spring but enter the portal after graduating.

Man looking at the roster we need one experienced Guard big mauler. 1 Big bodied go to WR, 1 experienced QB, and 2 OLBs.

Guard, QB, RB, WR, Edge, and LB are kind of where I see holes still.
I’m sure some of the DL I have are actually edges but I’m waiting to see who reps where. Regardless, I’m not sure we have what we need there.
RB is interesting because we really need a transfer backup and those aren’t commonly found it seems. If any of our RBs get injured we’re toast there

Jones if we don't get a WR in the portal which DB do you expect to swap sides? JC Hart since Freeze mentioned him being so athletic he may want him on the other side
No way can we go with only 9 WRs. Unless we are gonna really go Big slot with Fairweather alot and 2 backs a running back and H-Back.

Oh damn I must have overlooked it. I been pretty busy getting ready for the season. 2 more years for me and I'm hanging it up as far as coaching. Have to see where I'm at with my 401k to see if I can retire. I know I can make more money doing other things then teaching. I make as much in the summer as I do the rest of the year. Just the benefits is tough to walk away from

I’d guess that if we don’t get an experienced WR before the spring that we’d get one after it, kinda like Dimitri Robertson a couple of years ago.

WR, LB, and QB need upgrades as a group. Just way to many holes coming into December 2022 to address all completely.
Freeze and Co. have done a fantastic job on OL and DL not that I think either will be great but we were looking at being absolutely terrible at those spots

I’m really impressed with what they have done so far. I really didn’t think he would be able to get us to this point where what’s left seems manageable.
And if McCall’s situation wasn’t so fricking weird then we maybe would have QB/WR figured out too

Seemed like McCall was a done deal. Guess goes to show even in today's world you go to school to play school not just play football. Seems there are 2-3 big time players that get busted with that every year.

Yea pretty much agreed.
Somehow Tackle seems shored up... I would have put that as #1 issue heading into the offseason. This staff has killed in the portal already and realistically getting a QB, IOL, and WR would be the cherry on top. Add another LB or edge and it's a grand slam.
QB / Guard / WR - Would be great to add a Pos 1 in each spot.
DL / Edge / LB - We have a lot of dudes but unclear who's actually going to be able to contribute. Would love to have that game breaking 3rd down edge rusher but not sure we have him on the roster right now. Those guys are tough to get also.
RB - Maybe one OK guy for depth. I don't see how anyone good would transfer here with what we have coming back. We have 2 very good RBs and Cobb is likely going to be good also.
