This thread is the most discussion outside of the recruiting thread we've had in months. Why dont we focus on getting to know each other better then invite others to join

No I am changing my stance once I am thinking over the idea and what makes the most sense. This idea came up only in the past couple hours, it is absurd to believe that I had a pefectly formed idea in the first 5 minutes of thinking about it.
Also, unlike you and some others, I read what other people write and understand the merits of their arguments and see their points. I reserve the right to change my opinion when someone presents a better one.
Finally, the reason you don't see people on this board from other fanbases Undecided, is not because they don't have access but they only post when they have stuff to say, which isn't too often. That is likely how it will be with the alabama posters unless they have a question of us they want to pose here. They will not participate on our board like we do because it isn't relvant to them 9/10 posts

You yes voters think about this. No matter how well intentioned this is. There will always be incident even if an outsider is not flaming. Every fanbase has fans that post who will go off just by seeing an outsider post in their board. Add the emotions of football season and alcohol and you have very combustable elements there.
