If Nick hands the ball off to CAP the first time this doesnt happen. If we can cover someone in the first half, this doesnt happen. If we ever learned how to tackle, this doesnt happen. If A&M didnt go into prevent mode and kept the foot on the floor and blew us out, this doesnt happen. If we werent so undisciplined and given up so many stupid penalty yards, this doesnt happen. Its not just Dismukes fault, there are lots of people to put the blame on.

This loss is not a surprise. Issues we have seen for WEEKS came to the surface today. CEJ should move on IMO. this guy has decent talent and fields a high school defense this season...give me a break!

That was a shitty play, but it wasn't the game deciding play. Our D was shite all day long and we fumbled the ball on the one yard line going in. Dismukes play is actually way down the list of shitty plays by us today.

Man, Reese fricked up but so did NM and CAP on the handoff previous possession, and the entire defense shitting their britches the first half.
Look, this is why defense wins championships. Offenses make mistakes. That's why 17-10 wins look better than 41-38 wins or whatever- there is a certain level of control over a game had when a defense is dominating the field.
This is what happens when you live and die by your offense week in and week out. This is why Auburn is a "lucky" team when we win and "unlucky" when we lose. The system we run, right now, relies on us to make few mistakes on offense or score enough to overcome them. Defense is just "there".
