We are spending tons of it on WRs to get open and Thorne to not see open or to block for him to run all next season.

Freeze might hit the portal if we don't have a offense next year with these WRs coming in start running off.

Freeze is trying to tip-toe around a lot of expectations and feelings and I dont envy him. I do believe he is being authentic when he is talking about believing in Payton though. Why? Because as soon as he says he believes in Payton he has to remind himself to say...and holden and so on.

Well before that quote he said whenever someone entered the portal someone kept coming to him telling him we should go "throw the bag" at him, so he is obviously paying attention. Next, if he hasn't found anybody yet, there are strong odds there is nobody. He has heard of Cam Ward right?
Secondly, Freeze made the point that nobody has set the world on fire in their first year after transferring, but the second year is when those transfers really blossom, inlcuding Penix. He said that was his expectation for Thorne.
