That is what it looked like. Our guys looked confused at times and out of position.

They certainly saw something with the TE’s that they could exploit and did. I’m not smart enough to know what our alignment was but their OC certainly called the right play against it. Those guys were wide open on several plays even when they weren’t targeted.

Take it to the bridge

CJB / CBB says we got to get into it and get inovolved

I got it. Watch me. Listen up and take it to the bridge. Do I have to (will be more than happy to) tell you why CJB is (was) the hardest working coach in the NCAA coaching business? I'd love to. WDE.

I’m on the Harsin train. I fully support him and like a lot of things so far.

But looking at how last nights game was coached, I would not say we are coached better overall. Coaching was one of the big issues.

I think Harsin has a good chance to make Auburn successful. He has some big hurdles to jump. His recruiting is not up to par yet and his assistant coaches are not performing so far. He will need to make some adjustments.

I’m on the train. Overall, I
Like him.

I didn’t like the BoBo hire from the start, but I can understand why he did it.

I was excited by mason’s hire but last night was confirmed our zone needs work that we saw in the first two games.

Where I see the plus of Harsin was how our guys played hard the whole game and the environment didn’t seem to bother them that much really. That was really good coaching going into the game.

I think we are not giving Penn St enough credit for what they did and putting it all in the things we did wrong. I am encouraged by how our O line performed against a very good DL.

Bobo made some crucial mistakes. I am wondering if the one tackle where Bo grabbed his throwing shoulder played a part in some of the strange throws afterwards. Our schedule doesn’t get any easier. I decided early I am not going to be hyper critical this season. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to win every game really bad but I had felt Harsin needs a couple of years to implement everything he wants to.

I will also agree our coaching of assignment has a lot of work ahead and I am discouraged by our WR Corp.

Recruiting will be a big component. Let’s see how this all plays out.

We better learn to celebrate moral victories because it's all we will be getting

Pointed out on one of the SEC Football Talk Shows this morning. SEC schools seem to get stung by Big10 teams that use the Tight Ends a lot. You would think that Mason would have learned that by now and have the Linebackers chasing them down. Different brand of football.

You always have to have moral victories to get to the real ones. It’s better than no victories at all, and it’s part of the process in building a program.
