If you really think about it tho, nothing really happened. If the internet didn’t exist, we would have heard about nothing. This whole situation was from trolls online starting a rumor, and then smoke saying something poured gasoline on it, the OC situation poured more gas, and the the internet community took it from there. INSANE SPECUALTION. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such wild speculation so bad in my life. Unreal times we live in.

Tell the rest of the CFB world this. The rantards been killing us for a week. Worse than when Aggie surrendered.

If you’re him, why would you want to continue to coach here?

Other than the reasons he laid out in his quotes in the ESPN article earlier this week?

The generational wealth for my family.

Yep we have no insiders… what is even worse is the bama boards and bama insiders sometimes know more about our program than we do.

I don't think PM has been right in a while now.

I think he doesn't have the sources and he simply reads his tea leaves and hope what he writes blindly hits the target.

All should understand that in matters such as these the roles of the university administration and the Board of Trustees are distinct and separate. To be very specific, the decisions made were mine alone as the president. The Board played no role in the fact-finding or the decision-making process.

TBH, Gogue is well respected, so I am going to take his word for what he wrote about the Board.

He's not going to put his name on something that would come back to bite him or his reputation.

And if he wanted to CYA, he would have just never put that sentence in there.

PArt of the problem is we all believe the gypsy stuff being touted out in cyber space.

Finally! This dumbass saga is over. Thank god the reactionary wing didn’t get its way and burn the program down with a spring hire

I still maintain we predicted transfers out and in way too accurately to not have any insiders.

Its easy, he will never get another big time job like he landed here and did not deserve this one from the start imo

What motivation would boosters from another school have in trying to hurt Harsin and his ability to lead Auburn?

My general belief is our rivals hope Harsin goes 8-4 and upsets bama or uga year 3 or so and we extend him before the bowl game we lose.

That's Harsin's MO. JOX had a Boise guy on the radio the other day. He used to cover Boise when Harsin was there. He said Harsin kept a tight lip and there were absolutely NO insiders. He said none of the Boise beat writers ever had a clue what was going on other than the standard coach speak at pressers. And up there the Boise beat writers were usually students or people just out of college. There is simply no market up there for people to make a living doing it.
