What do you suggest? Pay a high school kid 500k- million and suck for the next 2 years because once again we don't have a qb? I'm all for getting high school kids but none of the ones auburn is after will come in and play day 1. He's gonna have to make a decision how he wants this to go. If he trots out a Payton Thorne part 2 on 2025 I bet you he won't be the coach in 2026. Fans, ptb, won't take another 6-6 season 3 years in a row.

Maybe his low percentages are due to the fact he doesn't have our highly developed offense and top tier receivers.

What?
I am not saying blow your wad with this kid but for six figures you could probably get this guy and another QB and let him battle it out.
His passing percentage is pretty low on such a small sample size but career wise he has never had a problem with accuracy.

It's a joke. We suck, qbs suck, coaching definitely sucks. I just believe it's stupid to invest a shite ton of money on a high school qb. Hugh and crew need to start planning for a transfer asap. And hopefully set aside the funds to do so. Without a portal qb we will be in this same situation next season

Yes we do. We need competition in the QB room. I think Hank might work out and might need him to get more experience. I think he is learning not to stare down his receiver. And he was humbled last weekend. But a couple of Transfers trying to take it over will be a great addition. Don't need a world beater but someone who can run the offense. We also need to replace our secondary so we need money for that....

He wasn’t even the best available last year. So I have a hard time imagining with his performance this year (passing/quitting on his team) he’d be one of the best available this season.

Would be sweet but is it feasible? We'd have to 1. Have the money and 2. Be able to convince top guys to come here where the job isn't guaranteed over somewhere where they're gonna be the only transfer qb in the class.
I could see a million dollar qb not being bothered by sluka but is sluka gonna be chill with the million dollar guy?
