There was a few of those. GUS had a couple, Harsin had Georgia State, even chizik had Utah State.
But we got lucky as frick and won all those games. Ha ha.
Tubs did lose to USF.

You’re right. We’ve had struggles with cupcakes before. It happens to most teams every now and then. Even Bama - I think in an NC year - struggled with Georgia Southern.
But today was different. We didn’t struggle. We didn’t get “upset.” We got drilled. Bent over and spanked. 31-10 and we never had a shot.
That’s unacceptable for any coach. Chizik in 2012. Barfield. Harsin. And definitely Freeze.
My only hope is that Freeze learns from this and moves on as a better coach. Recruiting doesn’t take a hit and we continue building back the program. But it’s certainly concerning that a program on a three game win streak with Bama coming up didnt appear to have anything to play for.
