It does seem like our receivers cannot catch the ball and that is pure skill. Seems to me we have multiple issues.

What games do you think we lose with a good qb? If we score at least 28 we beat everybody but UGA. A good qb has to be at least worth 2 more touchdowns than PT. Hell i think almost every other qb in the SEC could put together 2 more td drives against Cal, Arkansas, and Vandy. You don't even need to be elite to be that much better than Payton. And then Missouri we only needed 1 more td drive and against Oklahoma we just needed a qb that won't throw that pick six. We're top 12 and tied at the top of the SEC right now with a multitude of different qbs. And it's not even that posi to say that. It's pretty easy to see.

Ya'll take this shite too seriously. Before the Oklahoma game I did not even bet anybody. I said here if Auburn loses I will ban myself for a whole week. Lanier took that opportunity to jump into my own self-bet so I tell him I didnt want to bet anyone, but since you want in, you can be in.

They've been good enough to put us in winning positions that our soft arse qb couldn't capitalize on. They've all killed drives but Payton and his inability to process in real time has killed most of them.

Case in point: The OL didnt leak at all until late in the 4th against Oklahoma. Anti-clutch.
