I would guess they will sell those seats at a premium. That’s gonna be one of the cooler fan experience in college ball.

And how many seats? How much more fan "experience" stuff is it going to include?
Not sure just adding a bunch of seating is a great call. I think we average around 2500 per game in attendance. Nothing about that says expand.
Could be a move that Butch is requesting. If so have at it.

On SEC weekends, we could’ve used the expanded seating. Plainsman Park is one of, if not the, smallest venues in the conference.
We should have increased interest moving forward as well. Coming off a poor 2020, AU sold more season tickets than they ever had before.
Butch needs this expansion ASAP.

If it's for Butch then I'm all for it.
But we do need more consistent fan support for the baseball team. Butch has done his job. The team deserves better especially on the weekend series. Those midweek Tuesday games are tough to make so let the students in free or something.

lol. How am I bitching in here. I'm speaking real facts. The current seating holds 4000. If we are only getting 2500 folks to show up why expand.
So I made a suggestion that using the expansion of the way improve the fan experience great. If Butch wants it great. But I just don't see the need to add seats to have empty seats.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm bitching about in this thread. Or any thread other then the recruiting thread. starting lineup prediction thread no bitching.
Sorry I don't just toe the line because someone thinks it a good idea.
The way I see it is there are 2 options in the expansion either make it where more fans show up to actually fill the park or build it with the intention if you build it they will come. Add on top of that you have to go to your donors for a handout, when most of this board is bitching the donors aren't doing enough for NIL for the football team.
Like I said prior if this is a Butch request he's earned that right in my opinion. I'm all for it.

I think they're trying to capitalize on the growing interest in Auburn baseball. If you're ever going to do it, now is the time.
