OT - Apologies and thanks

Downvote away. Addiction / alcoholism is a bitch. Chronic depression is a bitch. Being separated from home half a world a away for 27 years can take its toll. I'd like to give a special thank you to Freep and a few others. I hope no one goes through some of the shite I have been through. A six-year separation from my two teenagers who hate me and live with their mother because she forged official documents and took them from me, and in the best interest of our kids, I either have to take her to court or let things slide. So, as far as family life, I am very jealous but happy for many of you. Family.
Recruits, boosters, others talk a lot about the "Auburn Family." I can tell you, it is special. I was born and raised in Auburn until age 24.
I hate to see us shite on one another. Banter, jokes, disagreements are fine. Being intentional assholes to our Family members is different, and I take offense.
I am very happy to be back and had to jump through hoops to do it. But fall camp has started, the rubber is going to meet the road here real soon, and in the absence of my family, and huge thanks to my dog, I'm still here.
So, apologies and thanks. It's nice to be here and getting ready for a great roller-coaster 2023. War Eagle everyone, and TIA for your support and camaraderie. I miss home in the fall very much. Please enjoy it for me.

All is cool. But, there is a matter to settle. Before you were gone, weren’t you riding the Harsin spud wagon pretty hard and hating on the rest of us who had already recognized what a disaster he was? This needs addressing.

Just some words of advice for the future.
shite talk is going to happen regularly on here. It’s rarely serious. For most on here, it’s more fun to be assholes to each other than being polite and nice all the time.
You seem to take it personally most of the time. So maybe just keep that in mind. Or don’t.

Nope, not at all. I was stlll banned and had no idea as to who would be the best fit and put the pieces back together. I can say that i AM VERY, VERY impressed with what CHF has done, continues to do and will do is extremely impressive. Keeping Caddy on staff first of all was probably his best decision yet, then Zac and Trovon. Those 3 bleed orange and blue, been there, done that, and their connections and relationships with local talent, high school coaches and players in the Southeast was, is and will be crucial to our future classes, not to mention those still on our roster for the past 1-2-3 years. JMO. War Eagle. I don't think I could be more giddy. It feels good.
