Especially since he went 14-13 in conference, 2-5 against our 3 biggest rivals, 5-13 against P5 teams with winning records, and lost to 5-7 Tennessee and 2-8 South Carolina while pocketing $21 million for his troubles.

BS article, yes the investigation hurt, but I think opposing recruiters are also pointing out our 5 game losing streak...

No kitty is worth $5 million. It is a weird situation tho that a lady that young would leave her alma mater to travel to Auburn Alabama to work. Not that anything is wrong with that

Clearly a better situation for her at a bigger school. But continue with some vague fake insider bullshite. I’m sure a broke 5th grade baseball coach would know what she’s up to

I disagree, FWIW.
Lee Hunter and Kobe Hudson just dragged him publicly for being a terrible leader and not connecting with the players. Is there another instance of this happening at another school in recent memory? I can’t think of one. Even Smoke made some shitty remark and tried to walk it back later. It has to be pretty poor for players to just trash a coach like that publicly.
With any coaching change, a significant number of players will bitch, gripe, especially on social media, transfer out, not buy in, blame others, etc. ad nauseum. Please make the distinction between players who have left, for various reasons, and those who have stayed, seemed to have bought in and believe in CBH and also seem to be working their asses off. So, frick those that left, and please get behind those that have stayed. JMO.
The turnover in staff is a huge red flag. The timing of Mason leaving and for less money was pretty telling imo.
Come on man. We can't have it both ways. We complain that our coordinators and certain coaches are complete shite, then CBH makes staff changes, and now staff turnover is a huge red flag? I mean... frick. Maybe, just maybe it might be a huge orange and blue upgrade. Let's revisit this post-season. Fair enough?
I don’t think we know anything other than a formal complaint was submitted against Harsin. The University has to formally investigate it. Not sure how it leaked, but imagine it’s tough to keep that under wraps these days. Social media did what it does and nonsense spread like wildfire. PTB got involved, but they surely didn’t create that mess.
Culture is real and it matters, no matter what sport or industry you are in.
Or country. Maybe just maybe he is changing the "culture" of AU football for the better. If you want to debate that, then CGM was about the best cultural fit AU could have hoped for, but he is no longer our coach (rhetorical "why?"), and, rough estimate here and all, but his last 3-4-5 years, 75% of posters here constantly bitched about this and that and wanted him gone.
Harsin has cultivated this and I’m really not expecting him to survive. I really wish we had just bought him out, I fear what our roster is going to look like and how far the program gets set back
