Either we go big or go home. I just don't think a coach like Strong will cut it.

No clue. You really never know what'a going to happen with your coach. Did people think saban would turn around Bama after the firs year? Did people really think Les Miles could build LSU into what it is today? It's hard to know

Is it worth the risk?
As awful as today was, there is a part of me (a sad, pathetic, hommerish part) of me that still thinks this team can be salvaged a la UGA in 2010 & LSU/Miles after 2009. If we hire a new coach that is a miss the chances of a resurgence are gone

Exactly. We just got to see how it plays out the rest of the season but it's going to be really tough starting out 0-2 and moving forward with it, especially with today's performance.

I want a headcoach who is a motherfrickin' a-hole, who lays down the goddamn law, plays smashmouth football and demands his defense have some fricking balls and know how to tackle. I want a guy who will yank a qb when he is throwing up all over himself and hand him a clip board.

No to anyone connected in anyway to the state of Arkie. No to Malzahn, no to Petrino. (side note, no Arkansas QB)
Harder to say who to get. I do not see JJ making a move, so that puts us in a tough spot. I can not think of a realistic hire which is similar to our last search.
Chizik has issues, Auburn has issues. Strap you seat belts, it is going to be a bumpy ride.

Why the frick do you want Bobby Petrino?
Do you ppl not know anything about him? Do some research on him and there is no way you could support this.
If...if we need a new coach soon go look at Charlie Strong or Art Briles or Al Golden or Hitler or kliff Kingsbury or Lane Kiffin or anybody else.
BP cut out on his deal at UL, is basically shunned in the NFL and will never get a chance there again, and then embarrassed and lied to his boss at Arkansas.
