Harsin also should have beaten Saban last year and I’d still gladly take Saban. Since when has the transitive property been something that makes sense in CFB?
It's one thing if your players don't execute, a whole other thing for their coach to put them in a really bad position.

There are multiple ways to win or lose a game. Failing to convert early in the game isn’t what loses games.

Hugh is on a 2 loss streak in God’s country. You should worry about your coach that is apt to embarrass a program for far worse than defensive futility. Let me know Lane gets his program put on probation.

And didn't he lose to Memphis when he was at OM?
No coach is going to check all the boxes. Honestly, I'd be happy with Freeze or Kiffin given our track record of recent hires. Neither are my top picks but they're both light years better than Stoops, Muschamp or Steele.
