We cant "offer" until he hits the portal, and I think we offered about 15 seconds after he entered....I suspect there was some communication through 3rd parties beforehand, just a guess.

Yes he will “officially” be a commit on paper for the ‘23 class just like he was never really a portal guy.

So DL could be Phillips at Edge, Blockton, Nicolas, maybe TJ Lindsey, maybe Franklin and maybe LJ McCray.

Auburn has Blocton. In great shape for TJ Lindsey and Dimitry Nicolas. Those three alone are solid. All have high, high upside but are likely foundational pieces. But getting both in board frees up coaches to go 100% on Franklin and McRay
I’ll be much relieved on DL if we land Lindsey and Nicolas soon.

I’ve said it on the recruiting board and many many times on the Ole Miss board. Freeze is a fricking monster and I'm very jealous y’all have him. I love Kiffin and am happy to have him but I would take Freeze back tomorrow if i could.

Seriously don’t be surprised when we get Carter out west, flip KJ. Get the ‘25 UGA LB commit(kj’s teammate), I would say Ny Carr might be the last WR for this class and if we flip him what will Landen Thomas do, I’d say we at least get an official visit.
Not saying all those are happening just saying it does not matter where people think we stand with a kid right now

Every national signing day was called “Flipmas” when he was at Ole Miss. We always expected to flip at least 3-4 big names. It’s what he and his staff are best at. He is the one that got AJ Brown out of Starkville and he grew up a State fan.
