Projection or something.

To put it simply, you are a fanboy and in your face and cocky about it. And you were fanboying shitty Auburn teams which makes things blow back so much harder. You were that way with me about Sean White. You were that way with me about our defense in 2021. and you continue to do it.

In 2021 you said all our holes were upgraded in the portal. We had depth and Nfl draft picks at every level. McCreary ended up being the only draft pick on our whole team that year. And get this, you were very in your face because of convincing wins against Akron and Alabama State.

quote:

Try using your eyes. The only real weakness on our defense this year is number 19.

We have future NFL draft picks on every level of the defense. Stop clutching your pearls. Its ok to be confident in our nasty defense

At one point that "nasty defense" was 130th out of 130 teams in passing completion percentage given up.

still a fact today as it was back then. Thanks for proving me correct

DL had future NFL draft picks, LB had future NFL draft picks, secondary had future NFL draft picks

eta: still shocked McClain didnt get drafted. He was a heat seeking missile of a LB and produced in huge ways for us

etaa: Same nasty defense that had your crimson tide shut out til the 4th quarter and if not for Tank going down out of bounds, we would have beaten them

Next time you need to be upfront if you are mainly just pimping five star busts that only gets drafted in the 5th round on athletic ability.

I imagine so. You stupidly said he was our best linebacker since Takeo. Would a real Auburn fan slight Dansby or Bynes like that? Dont think so.

There is that logic that makes you look like a dumbass time and time again.

Look everyone! Jangs moving the goalposts because he tried to call me out and ultimately proved me right

There is no way you can say i am moving the goalposts. Then, you told me to open my eyes and watch our how players played. Well I saw how they played and it wasnt pretty.

Pappoe getting drafted in the fifth despite his tape doesnt help your case at all.

And getting one 2nd rounder, one 4th rounder, and one 5th rounder drafted in two total years is actually extremely light for a "nasty defense."

McClain led the league in tackles in 2020 and led the team in tackles as a junior and senior. I'd say he is definitely in the conversation as the best we've had since Takeo spikes.

I'd say Karlos is clear number two.
His mate Dontarrious Thomas might even be better.

Karlos Dansby was a solid NFL starter for a long time

Some encouraging OL news: 4* OL Deandre Carter will be at BCW. Very big deal since he’s a California kid. Gotta think Auburn is on top here

Bump. Good night folks

Wait until you see his two kids lol. Big one is 16 and an OL and the other is a DL and 13.

My son went to the Kirby Smart football camp a month ago (he also did the Freeze day camp following week). Both Ronnie and his son and Brandon and his youngest were there. We were directly behind Brandon checking in so talked a while. The youngest was 6’1” as a 13 year old - by far the biggest kid there. When we saw Ronnie, I made a comment about getting the backfield back together again - let’s just say Brandon may not be the biggest AU fan. Maybe no ill will to Auburn, but he flat said that the coaches didn’t use him correctly. He did counter and say that since he was the transfer, he shouldn’t have been given anything over Caddy and Ronnie.

Another interesting thing, all the parents and kids were just hanging around the complex when checking in - Kirby swoops in grabs Ronnie and his kid and takes them off to some VIP room. My 9yo son asked if we got to go too and I just said “Uhh, no”.
Kirby really is recruiting 100% Al the time. I think Freeze has a similar vibe, but his camp just was too short to really tell. I’m sure he’ll expand it after being here a year

Absolutely was, no denying it. Just as there is no denying he never eclipsed 100 tackles in a single season at Auburn either. Its really splitting hairs. If McClain had the measurables, he would have been drafted as well. Just too short. It is what it is

. Ronnie Brown? If his kid goes to Georgia we might as well shut the program down.
