Thanks. Now lets hope for a big Big Cat Weekend and put some hay in the barn before the season starts.

More OL woes. Pink thinks that Jameson Riggs is leaning Georgia Tech

He’s a legacy recruit for them, but still.

OL recruiting is such a crapshoot

We’re probably going to have to get more transfers for the Oline for a few years, get some guys drafted, and the negative recruiting will die down.

Hasn’t sunk in yet that we might actually get a 5* WR.

Does anybody wanna talk about Hue’s insane TE and WR roster the year they lost a bunch of games.

AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Van Jefferson, Evan Engram, Dawson Knox, etc

Just give me half of that and I’ll fap all day.

Missing Riggs, especially to Tech (even with the family history) is a bad miss. Him, Poe, and Tuamua are the only 3 OL I really care about right now and as of this moment it looks like at least 2 of them are going somewhere else.

I'm not ready to make a big deal out of it yet, mostly because I knew we would have to hit the portal for OL and DL next year anyway... but OL and DL recruiting is falling behind every other position and we can't have that. If its still like this for HS recruiting next year then some decisions will have to start being made.

So who is out there now:

Tuamua we stand a decent chance IOL
Reese Baker is a tackle, looks really good on tape but he will have to take a couple of years to put on some weight.
DeAndre Carter some chance, IOL.
Poe I dont think we have any chance.
Riggs, small chance.
House, well we will know Friday, not to make you guys feel worse but Pink said some months ago at an Atlanta camp, with a lot of stud linemen House was the MVP and he could play tackle, lets hope.
Echols they like on defense so he is out.
Anyone else? Im certain they have more on the board.

Taumua is the only positive so far, and we’ve still gotta get him away from the west coast Baker, yeah, but he’s a upside guy

I’m not overly optimistic on Carter or Poe. Riggs and House appear headed elsewhere.

Coen Echols committed to TAMU. William Echoles is tending toward Ole Miss.

It’s still better to be at this spot now than November. We’ll see how this staff adjusts the board for this fall

OL recruiting seems to be coming back to reality.

Oh well.

When does basketball practice start?

It was slim pickings in the south this cycle it seemed like. Not nearly as many big time Oline recruits nearby like last year.

On a positive note: I’ve seen some crystal balls coming in for Riddick.

Is that the guy Chex was going to ban bet his commitment?

OL recruiting, for this ‘24 HS cycle, has certainly been disappointing so far. The only positive I see is that it’s not November and we’ve got 5 months or so to regroup.

Both lines are somewhat concerning right now. I do like Malik Blocton but we need much more than that.

I do think WR and LB will work out. Not worried about the DBs. Would like another RB. QB is set. We’ll see about TE, but not my biggest concern

Use the next 5 months to hammer away the lines and I’m feeling good

I don’t see any new CB’s or predictions for Riddick to AU. What are you referencing?

Whoever runs Auburn Factor. I’m trying to get the link, but my internet is acting screwy from the storm last night.

... this keeps getting lost in translation. There's a lot of football left to play.
