Call me crazy, delusional, etc, but going into the 4th, if nothing is really working, how would you feel if we put JJ in and just started passing. Gus said he'd have a bigger role, which was complete BS. For fan expectations, our season is practically over if he lose this one, so take out all stops.
IMO you don't do that to NM considering what he has meant to this team and program. He really isn't significantly worse than JJ at throwing the ball. He also has the ability to run for his life better since the O-line is average.

Put him at the start of the third and line Nick up as WR and overthrow him and then tell him that's what the rest of the guys feel like shitebird

Why would we take arguably the best QB in the SEC out?
Maybe if we play called to win and our special teams didn't effectively turn the ball over twice that resulted I'm 14 points this would be different

Nick Marshall has earned every snap from now until the end of the season. We would not have expectations to not be met without him. JJ's time will come but now NM is our guy because he has earned it

Special teams and play calling has been the problem so far tonight. Lets hope for some major adjustments?

Our defense can stop them every drive and we still lose. We need points and our O hasn't shown any push since the first drive. Our running game did well, but then was stopped. Now, maybe we adjust something at half and find success, but it looks like passing will be the path to win. Already, NM has been over throwing guys. CJ and Sammie had to go up high to get crucial 3rd down passes. I'm assuming JJ is a little more accurate, and I think he's shown this when he's played.
I don't think a players past and what he's done should factor in. If our running game isn't happening, and our current QB is struggling to pass, then let's play the QB that gives us the best chance to win.

You cannot say this definitively. Now, I'm not saying NM isn't going to come out hot...let's see how this 3rd quarter goes.

But their performance in games and in practice will dictate who is the best to play in all situations. NM has earned it.

He threw it up and away from the defender to a bigger target. Exactly what he should have done.

So would you have benched Cam for JJ in the 2010 IB? I mean guys have bad halfs but Nick in the second half historically has been solid so you don't mess with it

You would have to try and pass to know if the QB was struggling to pass.

If CJ dropped it, you would be saying it was too high.

At least it sounds like Gus had a clear idea of our problems.

What're you talking about? No! Cam showed promise in the first half and definitely the 3rd quarter. I'm saying wait until the 4th and see where we are.

Why in the frick are people still talking about JJ when Nick Marshall has EASILY been the brightest spot on the entire team and the reason we've won as many games as we have. Straight up retarded
