Some on AUFamiliy speculating that if it is Kelly we get Lawing as well. Anyone else hearing this?

We have room for one assistant on the defensive side so he would get to bring that guy in. Garner and Thompson need to stay for continuity

Garner - DT
Lawing - DE
Thompson - LBs
Kelly - DC/DBs
I have no idea if that is how it would be but that would be a VERY good recruiting team. Biggest thing about getting Kelly is he runs a similar enough system is I don't think there is as large of a learning curve this year. Also I think he is a guy that will stay 2-3 years

Yes, but I want a coaching staff that can also develop players. I think 3 of the 4 are good developers of talent. Garner is the only one people seem to think isn't as good of a coach as he is recruiter.
