quote:yes they are. Watching the Boise St vids, their Qb was definitely taught to stay in the pocket. One can only hope Bo is coachable enough
I hope he develops the shite out of Bo. Kid has flashes of brilliance and his issues are fixable.

I don’t think he is. I mean, how elementary is it to keep your damn feet planted when throwing a ball - I am certain our coaches last year tried to help him with that but game after game he would still throw off his back foot.

You ever played Qb before?
I have and when I did I moved from running back to Qb my freshman year of high school. My natural instinct was to run to daylight. Outside of that our OL was horrible. Hell I wasn't good either but had a strong arm and was super fast. (As I've mentioned before my oldest brother was an all state QB that played for bammer but moved to corner back in college) So our coach I guess thought the genetics would carry over.
Anyway you get busted in the chest, legs, head, about 4-5 times a game when you are just about finished hitting your drop sure you'll throw off your back foot. Hell it's common for NFL QBs to do it when they don't have a clean pocket and you can barely even sneeze on them now.
My passing was good threw a good ball just never had the field vision needed to excel plus I was usually the fastest on the field. I still have fond memories of my high school coach saying when we call a rollout pass you don't always have to throw it. Our best play that season was a silent snap QB sneak. Only the Center and I would move. I'd be at the linebackers before anyone knew what was going on.

Nobody cares about your shitty high school football experience or your idiot brother

But to answer the question every player at this level is able to be coached if they accept it. Nothing about Bo says he won't take coaching. Will he master it? It will probably take him 3-4 years but his ability on the move is also a plus. I think he needs help rolling left and throwing, rolling right he's fairly accurate but put the ball sometimes in some difficult spots. Harsin's offense will be more pre-snap read for the QB. He will know the couple options prior to the snap where the ball should go. That will give him a better clock in his head to work with instead of just waiting to scan to see what develops. Deep balls wont be thrown 60 yards down field, deep balls will be manipulated by moving defenders and throwing it 25 yards down field with no safety over the top.

My Idiot brother passed away at 25 thank you very much. But no one cares about your moronic post. Always the hater, such a coward bitch.

if you don't want answers then don't ask questions like how hard is to not throw off your back foot.
If you want discussion I'm all for it.
Guess the panic of a new hire is settled down and back to attacking other posters. Merry Christmas to you counts as well

Nothing about Bo says he won't take coaching.
Bo has an attitude problem. he is a hot head and plays with entirely too much emotion. Talks back to coaches. Acts petulant when the game doesnt go his way. Chirps at his WRs. Bo has NOT been coachable in the two years he has been at Auburn

ETA: I hope he’s a first round pick because that means auburn is doing awesome. I just have not seen anything that would lead me to believe it at this moment in time. I hope you’re right.
