Well...only about 5% of the fan base supported the Chizik hire when it happened.

Actually, I was indifferent to it. I took the attitude of "I'm going to wait and see what happens".

The "I won't support AU if we hire BP" statements are the funniest. If Petrino comes in here and wins, EVERYBODY will jump on board. That's a fact.

I was one of the people pissed with the Chizik hire myself (before he hired his staff anyway). But there is a big difference between thinking we did much worse hiring a coach than we should have, and actively hating the coach we hire because he is a huge scumbag. Winning doesn't necessarily fix that.
My only comparison for myself would be the last 2-3 years under Terry Bowden, I didn't care what our record was, I wanted that little fricker gone.
