Jesus y’all talk about soft football players most of y’all are acting like pansy’s and nothing has even happened yet.

If he had any kind of relationship with the asssitant and I have no idea if he did or not. I mean any kind flirty emails texts whatever then he should be canned immediately with cause.

Obviously the players are split on him off of the football field and doesn’t feel like he understands then or is involved enough outside of football.

No one has any idea what the board or PTB are doing it’s all rumor at this point. Is he probably gone? It sounds like it, there is a lot of smoke.

The hiring and firing of assistants have just been strange. Quick to pull the trigger to fire assistants and extremely slow to hire replacements. Sounds like someone without and in-depth plan if things go off the rails of the original plan.

I still want to know why Corn was fired. Was he spanking the coaches daughter? That was part of the rumor. I’m not a Corn supporter just was extremely weird timing.

I think Harsin is a dumbfrick as a head coach but still haven’t called for his firing. But with the shite show based off what Harsin has done what gives the Harsin supporters hope that things turn around and isn’t some 5-6 year process to just get stable? And don’t drag Gus into your argument because he has zero to do with this shite show.

For some reason people believe that he has a vision and plan. They believe him when he insinuates every misstep in hiring is part of his plan. He keeps saying he has a plan, nothing more. Where does losing 6 in a row, recruiting misses, no signees on signing day, and appearing to have lost the team fit into his vision?

In a lot of ways, it is Gus’ fault for babying players and not instilling toughness. But there’s a lot of blame to go around and Gus isn’t here anymore so no use in dwelling on that.

Corch, I respectfully disagree. Gus was not a hardnosed disciplinarian that demanded excellence. B or B- was acceptable and the kids he recruited wanted the benefit of a major university platform without having to put in the work.

When Luke is posting reasonable grounded replies in disagreement with you...you know you're dead wrong.

Show me any kind of proof of soft or not demanding excellence…

Like I said if you are a Harsin supporter give me something he does not something that Gus did. There is a reason I didn’t mention wins and losses in the op

No, that’s a week suspension at best. Good luck ever getting a good coach if that’s a “for cause” firing.

Y’all keep saying “good luck getting a good coach”

We get it by now.

We ended up with Harsin the first time after all.

Yall keep talking about Gus had soft players yet his teams won a lot of games in the SEC West. We're still waiting for Harsin to break 500. And since he's losing more players than he's bringing in, he's still gotta win with "Gus' players".

I knew a guy who was a freshman for 2012 and was there when Gus came in. He said one of the first things Gus did was purge the “pussies” off the team. Gus’ issue was scheme and recruiting, not ability to build tough players.

It’s extra funny because we had so many hard nosed defenses under Gus. That same player pointed out that Gus was known for having lockdown defenses when he coached high school. His offensive scheme complemented solid defenses.
