So is this legit after all?

I can see pulling football out to create their own. Lot more players involved and more money needed in the NIL too.

There are so many AU sports programs, I think it would be hard to manage ALL of them under 1 NIL. I remember when you go to the AUBURN NIL or the new Friends of Auburn NIL, I think you had to pick a sport to donate.

The key is ALWAYS going to be...can we get enough donations to compete with other colleges. Although somewhere down the road, quickly SOMEONE needs to get some policy in place to not pay for play as part of the recruiting process.

People of all fan bases that have the money to make a difference don’t care about skirting the rules. Corruption will be the biggest issue of the NIL stuff. Player don’t deserve pay for playing an amateur sport. If it’s not amateur anymore then it shouldn’t be sponsored through a university. Granted the ncaa/sec shouldn’t be banking millions of dollars off the back of those kids as well it should go back into scholarship programs for the participating schools.

Stidham I believe It might have been some of the most positive posts he has ever made, if I remember correctly.

NIL Auburn is alive and well. It’s come a long way since when it was announced.
