You have to get a big name that everybody respects for that to happen. That’s why it worked with Saban.

We suffered through Gus for 8 years. This will end bad for AU football. They just assume people will show up and buy merch.

Well, it took Dubose, Franchione leaving, Price debacle, and Shula for Bama boosters to finally wake up. So it may be a sad decade for Auburn until that happens.
