Good enough for me. Let’s give him a huge buyout too.

Sark isn’t my #1 but I think most of our issues have been on offense and I think Sark could put a much better scheme together than Gus could and I think he would recruit as good if not better than the level we have been at.

His resumes at USC and Atlanta don’t jump out but I also think he’s in a better place mentally than he was in at USC and I think spending several years under Saban certainly helps IMO.

I dont want Sark. He is a grown man who legitimately eats his boogers. Think about that. What does that say about who he is as a person?

AU people are currently in love with Sark because he is kicking arse as Big Brother's OC right now.

It's easy to kick arse as Bama's OC. Every dude who has held the title has done well due to elite talent.

Remove Sark's Bama OC tenure and he was an average coach at UW & USC. He was a failure as the Falcon's OC.

Add in the chance of the alcoholic tendencies possibly coming back due to the pressures of being a big time HC again and in my mind, Sark is not a good candidate.

I guess I’d rather roll the dice on an up and comer (Napier) than a fail+fail+embarrassment of riches success story (Sark).

I also thin Kiffin would be awesome, but you could call him a failure too. But I could show Sark is a bigger failure so whatever.

I would like to go on record as saying Sark is not my top choice for the AU job. And I knkw he is playing with house money seeing all the talent at his disposal.

But I have to say, he is putting on a masterclass in playcalling in the SECCG tonight.

I’m not advocating for Sark, but what about Kiffin’s resume is better than Sark’s?

Pretty much all of it.

Kiffin's records include 2 11 win seasons and a 10 win season 9 years.

He took a 3-9 FAU to 11 wins the next season.

He had an impossible task at USC with the scholarship reductions. He recruited lights-out but the attrition without back ups made it go south.

Much of Kiffin's deserved criticism is from his immaturity. He was a HC at 31 and it he wasn't ready. He still shows some of that immaturity at times, but he's matured.

Sark really doesn't have much beyond one 8 win season at UW and a 9 win at USC (but USC had 10 the season before). Oh, and everyone thinks Sark turned a turd into a QB at bama this year, so let's give him a contract.

He's different than Sark. 30 minutes of research can prove it.

Again, not advocating for Sark, but look at Washington before he got there.

1-10
2-9
5-7
4-9
0-12

Him having winning seasons in 4 of his 5 years there is more impressive than the 11 win seasons for kiffin at fla atlantic

That took about 5 minutes of research.

It’s not hard to call a great game when you have 30 five star recruits on the roster.

Sark would be another Gus win wise. If they go that way they should have kept Gus. He is only a step above Steele. If he couldn't make it at USC then he isn't going to make it at Auburn.

FAU was 3-9, 3-9, & 3-9 before Kiffin came in.

Kiffin went 11-3, 5-7, 11-3.

Sark's 7-6 and 8-5 doesn't impress me as much, but I guess that's truly subjective. Also, Kiffin's classes at USC were awesome and had USC let Kiffin weather the scholarship reductions, I think he'd have turned that around.

90 seconds or research.

Just go ahead and hire Sarkisian. It seems to be the popular choice.

Dammit- Firesarkisian.com is taken.

Lol. Ok. Yeah that convinced me that his resume is superior. Congrats.

Going 9-4 at USC after Kiffin’s stellar 7-6 and 3-2 seasons isn’t even comparable.

Resurrecting a DEAD program at Washington doesn’t even deserve to be in the conversation as winning at FAU.

That took 89.2 seconds.

Let's hire Sark and lock him in with a 10 year $60 mil buyout. We'll look exactly like bama by A day.

ETA- more I look at it, the more I'm ready to ride with Napier, although, I still think Kiffin > Sark. Kiffin was also the catalyst for bama's O philosophy change.

Let's get Napier and let's ride.

Napier is going somewhere and he's going to build a solid program. But hell, I wanted Petrino instead of Gus, so...

We have to have a top notch recruiter. We are going to get left behind. There are monster recruiter head coaches all around us.

Over the last ten years, has anyone consistently been at or near the top without YoY top 5 classes, other than Dabo?
