Andrew McCain just backed Hoke’s earlier tweets.

I dont think all of these rumors are true but I just think its weird that sooo many "insiders" (yes I know our insiders are bad) are saying it. Either there is some truth to it or someone inside is feeding bad info

There's been plenty of times when I've been in JHS and our bench is going crazy.

Gotcha. Yeah I have no problem with the bench being in the game. The fire extinguisher came across as a borderline Gatorade toss though

Any time mass rumors about things that happened in the past come out, my immediate question is why is everyone reporting on it now. There could be a valid reason, but my initial thought is that it’s coming from one person and then just being recycled by everyone else.

Starting OT in 2009.

He was a low star recruit who turned into a decent player. Think he was a well liked guy and a best friend of Lutz. Started a podcast I believe and had a lot of 2010 guys on it for commentary.

Random Thought:

Why do football jerseys include first initials?

Your number is a unique identifier.

I understand that there is duplicate numbers these days.

For instance, you have 5 Browns on one roster. A first initial is only necessary if they share a number.

Thoughts?

My guess is because not everyone memorized who wears every number and it’s just easier to throw a letter on there

Liked them better with no names on back.

Barning Knight
@BarningKnight
So there's a "big name" who reached out to the committee and they were shocked this person would be interested and that they're available according to JGT.

Imagine that. Committee still thinks they are Mississippi. #WarChompEagle

No name on back is kind of tough to pull off now with duplicate numbers.

I always appreciated the simplicity of Penn State's uniforms. White helmet, navy stripe, no name on the back. Beautiful.

Sean McVay's coming. He's from Atlanta, trying to get closer to home.

No names on the jersey are meant for the casual fans. Literally had a Bama fan ask if Bama played today, and if you knew him, you’d know he was dead serious.

People on the Auburn rant..: I expect better at least by game 2 of playing time.

I like to play a game with loudmouth, sidewalk Bammers.

Tell them to name 5 players on their team, it usually doesn't go well...

Is the name long? Is that why it’s a “big name”

I mean big name that is available. The first two that come to mind are Meyer and Stoops.

Upper deck scum since ‘82. You can learn numbers pretty quickly when you can’t read the names.
