AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn's efforts to land Will Muschamp are nearing an end and the former Florida coach is nearing a deal to lead the Tigers' defense.
Muschamp's deal with Auburn is "getting closer," according to FOXSports.com's Bruce Feldman, who cited a source late Wednesday night. The apparent snag in the deal as of tonight is a "staffing issue," which "needs to be smoothed out," Feldman reports.

So what could these staffing issues be that need to be worked out? Only possible issue would be Garner I would think.

Move Garner to TE/ST and get rid of fricking Fountain. If we did that and brought in Lawing we would poop down the SEC's throat and make them swallow.
Also CHizik is talking about McElwain to Florida. He is talking about roster management
ETA: He isn't bad though and I sort of forgot that he went 3-0 in bowl games. THat is pretty impressive

Hopefully they'll get it sorted out and we can have word before the end of this week. I don't want to have to go into finals week with one eye on the coaching search and one on my study guides.
