Yes, that is on the O minded HC.

You are comparing apples and oranges. with fans like you, we will be looking in the HS ranks for a coach.......because nobody worth a damn would ever consider us. Money be damned.

you damn right. when it's your job to call the D, and you let a guy throw on you all day without making adjustments, or let a team run the same three plays the entire second half, and don't try something different.............that's on the coordinator.

It's not the HC job to call the D plays....when you are an O minded HC.

ETA was it the HC fault Tank ran out of bounds? was it the HC fault we didn't have a WR we could count on to catch the ball?

yawn. Fans willing to give infinite amounts of slack to a new coach are why we gave contract extensions to Gus and crew. Its all YOUR FAULT

Um, yeah. Coaches should prepare their players for game situations. Staying in bounds and milking clock should have been drilled into Tanks head before he ever stepped foot on that field. (quote and reply excuses here)

um, yeah. Its his job to prepare his players to perform on gameday. Its why they practice during the week

your stupidity is showing.

ETA the war in Ukraine is Harsin's fault. The price of gas is Harsin's fault. famine and plague is Harsin's fault. We get it.

Auburn's offense vs MSU:

28 points scored in the first 24 minutes of the game (~1.5 quarters)
6 points scored in the final 36 minutes of the game (~2.5 quarters) (those 6 points came with 3.5 minutes left in the game)

I think we went ~33 minutes of game-time without scoring a single point.

Everyone knows the defense shite the bed against MSU. Why does no one want to talk about the offense literally disappearing? Even with the defense looking blind, that game would have been won with 1-2 more scores. And also, perhaps the defense would do a little bit better had the offense not started basically just handing the ball back to Will Rogers at the midway point of the 2nd quarter?

So yes, the "O-minded" HC gets a share of the blame. Actually, the HC gets the share of any success or failure regardless.

It's the players job to go out and catch the ball. no coach can do that for a player. IF as you claim it's the coaches job to prepare the players, then the MSU and SC D gameplan and execution are squarely on the DC...........but that doesn't fit your narrative.

ETA mason is the most overrated DC I have ever seen. Steele wins both MSU and SC....probably Penn St..

At least the dullards have stopped filling the recruiting thread with their impatience, homespun bravado, and personal bias.

Dull boys ain’t trying to excuse Harsin from the USCe and MSU atrocities either.

Harsin went for it on 4th in his own territory against USCe and failed allowing USCe an easy score but somehow he is forgiven.

And it was all Mason’s fault.

Harsin going for it on fourth deep in his territory against USCe and failing was…,Harsin’s fault. The subsequent USCe score was Harsin’s fault.

Losing the game was on Harsin.

The coaching hires and fires are on Harsin.

Recruiting falls on Harsin.

Get the picture?

Is this post great, or what? We've got the dialog going.

Mason and whatshisface were atrocious hires that were forced on Harsin. He agreed to it, so it is what it is. Now Harsin has his guys. Natty incoming with our OL. We are going to maul people.

We should hire Utah’s staff and have all their players transfer in. Amirite?

Coarch, Utah would be top six in the SEC. Solid seven or eight win seasons. We'd probably split games with AU and LSU. Utah has a great coaching staff.

I've never seen a more absurd gut than Mike Bobo's. It was almost alien. It looked like he was hiding a watermelon under his clothes, but it was his actual stomach. He was a college football player, which makes it more absurd. Bad hire Harsin.

Guys, jang has a micropenis.

Jones lives in Colorado and is my mortal enemy. We don't tolerate his politics in Utah. If it weren't for Grand Junction I'd just assume giving the whole state to the Russians.
