His success as a head coach is shite. Sure he out coached some crappy sunbelt coaches. Everywhere else has been a clusterfrick. He’s a good play caller and scheme guy for an OC. As far as a person... people that frick around on their wife and do the same with other people’s wife’s I don’t consider a very good person. If that’s what you want to represent your university then that’s all you. No thanks for me. It’ll be a cluster at Ole Miss as well just watch. He will win some games lose some games but seems after the Freeze bull crap they would be looking for a little higher ethics. Guess like most of you here the only thing that matters is winning

I can't defend Lane with the Raiders. That was bad, but so was Saban with the Dolphins.
Kiffin was 7-6 at Tennessee after taking over a 5-7 squad.
He was 28-15 at USC and they were on probation including scholarship reductions during his entire tenure.
He took over a 3-9 FAU and went 27-13 with two CUSA titles over 3 years.
I see no negatives with his HC record. Looks pretty solid to me.

Ole Miss was 4-8, 2-6 in the SEC last year.
It is his first year, their defense is horrible.
I look for Ole Miss to finish around 4-6, 5-5 which would be improvement over last year.

As far as improvement on the field Pittman has been the best hire of the off-season so far. Odom is a damn fine DC.
