Every time I see a highlight from this guy it pisses me off that we didn't recruit him harder. We could of won a National title with him, instead we went after Tyler fricking Queen.

I also get irrationally angered over 3 star players that had an interest in Auburn that eventually became stars in the NFL.

We weren’t the only ones that missed on him. He ended up at Louisville for a reason. What he became is nothing short of an anomaly

I mean we slow played him and loiusville was the only team to guarantee him he was coming in only as a qb so he committed and shut it down.

We recruited all of the above that same year and would have accepted the commitment on the spot:
Queen: committed and signed with Auburn. Eventual position change elsewhere.
Torrance Gibson: He was a bum. A knucklehead as a recruit and at Ohio State. Also had a position change elsewhere but never cracked the starting lineup.
Kai Locksley: Position Change at Texas. Left for juco and got to play QB at UTEP.
Deandre Francois: Underwhelming success for a guy to have such great touch on the football. Was benched.
